Final Days of Summer For the Kids
Sol Luna Yoga’s Shine Youth Yoga Camp
We just wrapped up our first session of Shine Youth Yoga Camp at Sol Luna Yoga and we had a blast!
In our first session of 2nd - 5th graders, these kiddos learned how to use their breath in different ways – to make them feel different ways – and learned how their breath can help them out when they’re having big or tough emotions. They also learned how to use communication and teamwork to help them find solutions or overcome obstacles.
And of course, there was lots of play, dance, and singing!
Our second session – for preschool through 1st grade – begins this Monday! And it’s not too late to sign up. Encourage your little ones to enjoy movement, play, and teamwork while also beating the August heat! Meanwhile, gift yourself some quality time, with yourself, in the process!
2. Third Thursday in Downtown Klamath Falls
The FINAL Third Thursday of the summer is coming up on August 17th! If you haven’t already brought your kiddos to enjoy this downtown experience, make sure to check out this final one of the season! There are loads of FREE games, vendors, a bouncy house area just for kids, and even bumper cars in the street. There’s a live music stage, face painting, and more.
Support your local community, enjoy the cool summer evening outdoors with family and friends, and provide a free yet fun experience for the kids!
3. Fit Kids at Klamath County Library
Fit Kids is a FREE class held at Klamath County Library this summer, hosted by Sol Luna Yoga Studio.
Once a month, Sol Luna Yoga holds two different classes for two different age groups for kids, with each class tailored to the different developmental stages and needs.
August 28th is our FINAL Fit Kids at the library and we want to make sure you don’t miss out! From 1 - 1:30, class is tailored to kiddos up to age 5, while the class from 1:45 - 2:30 is tailored to kiddos ages 5 - 10.
Additionally, parents aren’t required to stay if they don’t want to or are unable to. So, parents, enjoy this little time for yourself.
No registration is necessary, simply show up! We’d love to see you there!
